Gallery Chosun will hold the "Reminiscence" exhibition of the artist Lee Sungmi, from March 8th to March 30th. Lee has been working with abandoned glass fragments, smoke, soot, and plexiglass, which we often encounter in daily life. In the process, the inherent variable nature of the material appears as a unique surface or texture. Especially, Lee Sungmi has also been working with glass fragments left in traffic accident scenes. The remnants of tragic accidents are born again as artworks. The artist positively embraces the unpredictable life and talks about the memories that are easy to be lost.
