Dear Dream Chasers,

Those of you who are moving forward towards your dream along the path you have found yourselves, are Dream Chasers.

 

As an art major, it may be considered natural for some to continue to be 'doing art', but we know best how difficult it is to overcome the various constraints of reality and get on with it. It's truly a great blessing to live doing what you want to do, but at the same time, it takes a lot of effort and sacrifice. I support you who have taken this difficult path, and I deliver this message as a fellow artist who started this path before in the same era.

 

Art is beautiful since there is no right answer. Therefore, there is potential that anything can become art. In the end, doing work is the process of finding 'me'. It will be a constant lonely fight with you, and you need to believe in yourself to find the way. I hope you will melt that loneliness into the process of creation and enjoy it.

 

The work makes the work. As you can see from the letters Eva Hesse and Sol LeWitt shared, don't doubt yourself, believe in yourself, and continue to create. To Hesse, who complains about the concerns of creation and the conviction and anxiety of her work, Sol Lewitt's answer is to stop it and Just DO. You and I, too should believe in ourselves, and we must keep going. Let's "Just DO!"
